Best/fancy automatic car wash in or near San Jose?

Advice

Kinda dumb question but among other things, I want to take my parents, who will be visiting US first time, to the fanciest car wash. Not looking for the DIY or hand wash places. Just want them to experience the luxury of auto cleaning the car.

I know it was something that was fascinated me when I moved here long time ago. Im sure they will enjoy it too.

I am in downtown SJ but won't mind driving as far as MV or Fremont. Thanks in advance.

Extreme express car wash. Has cool colored fluids and lights.

Plus it's right near downtown.

Is it no touch?

I don’t think so, but I think the brush thing is only on the top, not sides

I think Strictly Dumpling (Mike Chen) on YouTube went through if you wanna look it up, OP.

Try to find no touch car washes. The ones with spinning rags will just scratch your clear coat.

😂 i use a no touch car wash lol my suburban came out looking like a zebra! The only area that was clean was where the pressure stream passed by! 🤣

I think they are good if you go frequently, you wanted a brush if your car is filthy. But if you use brush type frequently, you'll scuff the clear coat eventually.

Yeah they work pretty good. My suburban just had baked on dirt. It was just a funny experience with the no touch car wash lol

Gas station? because thats the only way I can see that happen. All the legit no touch car washes has someone hosing it down with high pressure washer.

I go to Classic Car Wash in Westgate San Jose. Not sure if there are fancier ones, but it has the automatic wash! If you do exterior only you can sit in the car and it pulls you through the conveyor belt.

Classic Car Wash in Campbell. Shaped like a riverboat, and a duck pond to look at if you are having the interior done.

I usually went to the delta queen.

There’s a no touch wash at the Rotten Robbie off of Lafayette in Santa Clara that’s not too far.

Speaking of which, any recommendations for some place where they'll wash your car by hand? I have a roadster which means all the tunnel car washes are out of consideration, but every once in a while it gets dirty enough that I'd rather just pay someone money to wipe it clean.

Future Wash at Santana Row. You can also pay them a bit more and they’ll come to your house.

The power of automation over manual labor in the heart of Silicon Valley - once self drive cars becomes a thing I’m sure there will be a startup that caters to sending your car out for a wash and even comeback with your groceries. Your parents would be impressed.

Classic Car Wash in Campbell looks super cool. I haven't liked how well they clean though.
