Never forget this: Fred Van Vleet outplayed Steph Curry in a Finals elimination game. The question is... where does FVV stack up in the pantheon?

Also never forget: Kyrie demonstrably outplayed Steph in the 2016 finals (had way better stats, better by eye test, literally hit game 7 winner in Steph's face). Plus they now have the same amount of 50-40-90 seasons!

Kyrie was unreal in that series. People seem to forget the Cavs had the best 2 players in that series because it would diminish the “Lebron came back against the 73-9 win team singlehanded” narrative.

Mentally and physically healthy Kyrie is just as good as Steph

Lol important qualifiers but I think that's correct. Peak Kyrie can score against the best playoff defenses easier than Steph can. Obviously the consistency and shooting of Curry make him a much more valuable player but in a high stakes playoff game I might want Kyrie

He was fine in the WCF. The injury excuse only came up after they lost

I'm not even a warriors fan. I loved pre woke Lebron, but anyone who has seen that team play knows he wasn't the same for the playoffs.

It's middle early still, but he's kinda young, already has 1 chip, and according to Bleacher Report has a really good core when healthy. He could get frisky in a non-wonky season
