VOTE: What does YOUR team mean?

We have all been assigned teams in this league. What does having your team mean? Well, it could mean nothing at all, just a way to designate who's who.

The other extreme would be that we each START with our current team's roster and a selection of minor leaguers, and from there the league would diverge (e.g. if the Mets traded David Wright, I wouldn't lose David Wright myself from my team...nor would I be prevented from trading him if the Mets didn't).

Somewhere in the middle there are a few other options. The concept of a "dynasty" player. Meaning that you get to select 1 (or more) player that is actually on your team. You get to automatically keep him from year to year as long as your team keeps him from year to year. Or you could reselect a new dynasty player at the end of the year.

We could also start with a crop of minor leaguers from your team's system...this would help for owners that know their team's minor league system, but not necessarily the full 30 teams.
