Hey guys, so I am currently on the Way of the Rift Mage quest in the Exalted Plains but unfortunately already killed a group of the 3 Venatori squads meant to drop the tomes, so im now stuck with 2/3 tomes and have no idea how to get the third, any ideas?

You can get them from any of the Venetori mages you run into...I typically save and kill the 3 Venetori that Dorian wants you to get rid of over and over until I have all 3 of em.
In addition to what others are saying, if you're on PC there's a mod that makes them (all the needed components for specs, in fact) available at a vendor in Crestwood.
They are random drops from Venatori. If push comes to shove, head out to the hissing wastes and just wander around killing random groups until one drops a copy.
They will always respawn!! This game is good at making sure you don’t miss out on a quest if you kill an enemy and forget to loot it. There should be a way to buy the book, if there is no venatori respawning
More Venatori should spawn, but another way is if you have The Short List perk, the tomes are sometimes available to buy at Griffon Wing Keep.
