At a work BBQ a coworker decided to tell us how Trump was the best president we’ve had in a long time. I asked him for an example of policy that was good, and he couldn’t name one thing. Not one. He kept saying, “Yeah, we was immature, but his policies were solid.” Asked for one policy again. Silence. I joked, “Besides inciting a riot at the capitol” and he was like, “How did he incite the riot?” So I told him about the rally Trump had where he told his cultists to March to the capitol and “cheer on” republicans in congress to fight Biden’s win. He told me to prove it, so I got my phone out and started playing the video and he changed the subject. Like, what the actual fuck dude? They live in their own bubble and get mad with their false narrative is challenged.
