Slatted safety cover?

I've seen some slatted permeable roll-out safety covers that are available in Europe, are there any of these available in the US? We just bought a house with a pool and have 2 young kids (one of whom is an unstoppable daredevil) and I'd like to be able to have the pool safely covered when we're not in it.

I'm open to any other ideas, also. Thanks!

I highly recommend having a "baby fence" installed.

I'd look into mesh pool fences. They're cheaper, DIY-ish-able, and can be removed easily when the kids are old enough not to worry.
