Onslaught of anti-Satori FUD gives me hope.
So, there's a prevailing sentiment that Satori has changed the game, in various ways. A professional-level AI in the hands of a bunch of crazy Redditors is certainly unprecedented - but from what I can see, that hasn't escaped the interest of the other side. There seems to be an unusually dense attack against it, which makes me think the following.
Satori is significant enough that it has become a target.
This is an incredibly good sign. The mere fact that SHFs and other have actually deigned to change their tactics manually to counter a move we have made is insane. I can't wait for a white paper on it after all this ends - I imagine we'll get one, the mods are nice enough to at least ensure they spread the info SOMEhow. But what really matters is the prior statement - Satori is a target. The mods have successfully created a tool so powerful that we are being actively targeted - not as a blunt-force anti-GME tidal wave, but a pinpoint assault. Personally, I only have one thing I would like to ask of the mods that will allay all my fears.
I'd like to request that, once the MOASS passes and things settle down, the source and engineering data on Satori is released for all to see. It's certainly a fascinating machine, I imagine - but it could also perhaps provide a way to foster helpful discussion in all kinds of communities around the world.
Anyway, since I'm a hopeless weeb, I gotta throw in at least one image of the other Satori. She's technically from a game so it's probably fine. But my point is this - our green robotic ape/vague spectre entity/cute anime mind-reader is SO GODDAMN CAPABLE that it's become an individual target, and that says a whole lot.

EDIT: To elaborate, I don't mean a target for cyberwarfare - I mean a target for FUD against the mod team. If Satori is compromised, it can just be reconfigured and its actions undone. It's not an AI threatening to run unshackled, it's an administrative tool. With a pinch of neural network somewhere, I'm sure.
