What the hell did i take?

I hope some of you might have insight as to what i took.

in my search for pure MDMA (which seems impossible to find for some god damn reason), i was given capsules by someone who in relative terms (for a dealer) is reputable and hasn't provided junk in the past. he said it was pure mdma.

These capsules were very small and had fine ground white powder. at an event i took one and after an hour and a half of not feeling much except a little strange i thought it was just not much or that my tolerance is high by now (i've done ecstasy about 10 times now) so i took another one.

a short while after, my eyes were rolling heavily, my teeth were grinding and i had an overall intense feeling but nothing of it was pleasant and nothing near the lovey fuzzy feeling of mdma. but what was the scariest was that my temples got HUGE, they really got so puffy that it looked so strange and scared me.

has anyone had that experience or knows what the thing with the temples might have been? and can any one guess what i might have taken?

needless to say i now know that mdma is crystal-like and sometimes yellow/brownish but even when white it doesn't look like fine and very white powder.

Edit: thanks for the info guys, sounds like there is a lot of junk out there pretending to be MDMA. And sounds like testing kits are the way to go
