christians ARE being persecuted

the simple truth is that christians, and indeed people of all religions, are being persecuted. constantly. what's more, the rate at which they and their beliefs are being persecuted is growing exponentially. every single scientific and technological advance, every shred of logic and rationality introduced into the world is a dagger to the heart of their belief system.

we don't need to tell them they're out of touch and irrelevant. everything around them tells the religious individual that their power is waning. they aren't being persecuted in the traditional sense. they're being shown how unnecessary their world view is and it scares them. this is a new kind of persecution. one that is based on logic and reason. one that isn't forced upon others against their will but rather presented to everyone and adopted by so many because it's truth is undeniable. all religious people are being persecuted in this way and in the end, they will all fall to the power of thought and the potential of humanity.

GOOD.
