Do you approve of submissions to major subreddits that concern redditors interacting outside of reddit (e.g. real life)?

NSFW

I've seen this a lot recently and it seems to have gotten worse since I started coming to reddit (yes, I know everyone always says that). Does it really add anything to reddit other than to help reinforce the 'reddit is an exclusive club' fallacy? Here is a current example of what I'm talking about.

I don't mean to be a stick in the mud, but quite frankly these submissions just plain annoy me. I don't really care about some weird semi-stalker thing that someone did because they found out someone in their life is a redditor. I think it's creepy and I think that frontpage space could be better used to fuel discussion on topics other than the circlejerking of fellow redditors.

Any thoughts?
