Just bought a 32" TV to use as a secondary monitor, best mounting/placement options?
Hey guys,
Just purchased a 32" Sony Bravia to use as a television and potentially a secondary monitor (for when I do video editing and photo editing) and I am having a bit of trouble or indecision in regards to how I should arrange it on my desk.
My current setup: 27" iMac and 19" LCD monitor side by side, with the iMac playing the primary display (front and centre of my body and face) while the LCD monitor is off to the right.
My perceived setup (with 32" TV): 27" iMac front and centre as before, and the 32" TV mounted on the wall behind the iMac with HDMI cables set up and ready to go in case I want to use as a second monitor or hook it up to my XBox. I like this because it makes it very easy to use my current iMac and I simply have to look up to use the TV. I don't like this because if I watch movies off of the TV, I will have to turn off the display on the iMac for it to work at all.
Is there a better way to mount this or a better workflow for this? Ideas would be great.
