HELP! Upgrading Mac G5 processor from a PowerPC to an Intel

So long story short, I need to upgrade my Mac's processor from a PowerPC to an Intel to run Final Cut 7 (because everyone programs solely Intel these days).

My question is: is this possible? Can I just buy an intel processor and switch them out? Or is it not something that is possible to do? Or is it something I can do, but need to get a specific one? I'm really stressed out about this because I need Final Cut 7 for work, any help would be GREATLY appreciated! Thanks!
