Need opinions on a current hairstyle.

To get things kicked off, my hair can get sort of thick, and fairly curly. For the greatest part of my life, I wore my hair really short, like this: http://imgur.com/Eo9jJ. Recently, I decided to allow my hair to grow out long(ish) again. This is the result: http://imgur.com/9i0nX and http://imgur.com/6TYT1. My question is 1) Whether or not I should keep my hair long like it is and 2) What other styles can I pull off with the hair that I have now? Thanks in advance.
