How do you do your nails while travelling?

I am going to be travelling the next two days (by air) and I need to do my nails tonight...but I am wondering if I should do them at all, because I wont be able to fix them if they get chipped, and I do sometimes pick at them when bored...and I while be flying and travelling for over 30hrs.

So what do you do with your nails when you travel?
