[TOMT][Movie] Guy who is in a taboo-ish relationship with a woman that has a child

Foreign movie or possibly an indie movie. This guy is in a relationship with a woman who has a child. His family is very religious and do not approve (possibly Jewish, woman is not Jewish). They end up breaking up because of the disapproval, but at the end the man's mother gives the woman's child a stuffed animal, kind of a "no hard feelings" gift.
