Reddit, what is one of the most memorable things a child has said to or around you?
A few years ago I was fishing off of our dock with my 6-year-old cousin. We had just a hook on about a 2ft. line and some bread. Whenever we would drop the line, the fish would eat the bread and leave us with an empty hook. "Gah, Quinn.. The fish keep taking our bait! They keep tricking us, darn." He looked at me and I could see the rage in his eyes. He got down on the deck on his hands and knees and clenched a fist and shook it at the fish in the water and yelled "You bastards!!!! Quit takin my bait!" I laughed for the next 5 miniutes.... We never caught anything bigger than a baby bluegill.. Share your stories!
