Just got into an hour long argument because of Pokemon...

So I was on facebook, and there was a screenshot of a post of a person saying, "I hate it when 11-14 year olds say they grew up with Pokemon." Jokingly, I commented on the picture, saying, "They didn't grow up with Pokemon. The new ones shouldn't be classified as Pokemon." Well, this caused a shit storm above all shit storms. A bunch of 14 year olds notifucking me, going, "NOSTALGIAFAG NOSTALGIAFAG", even when I never said I didn't like gen 3 or gen 4.

I know you're all thinking this is absolutely stupid to argue with people about, and it was stupid enough where I finally stopped, because I couldn't get a word in edge-wise. Also, to everything I said, they would repeat it, mocking me. Why can't people realize that there are DIFFERENCES OF OPINION? I'm in college and the majority of my friends like gen 5, and we're 'debated' about it before, but yet we're all still friends because we recognize the phenomenon of different opinions. What kind of bratty morons will they turn into when they grow up if they can't even handle someone disagreeing with them over /Pokemon/?

Someone needs to take out the belt on these children and teach them some respect.
