Can someone help me fulfill my promise to get my cousin minecraft from Christmas? Details inside.

My cousin has been my best friend since before either of us could talk. For Christmas he got me batman Arkham City and I promised him minecraft; redtape and frustration ensue.

I try to buy minecraft for him on my credit union's visa card only to not only not have it work but to have my card locked out for 48 hours on a "fraud alert," an hour on the phone later I learn that they can shorten the lockout time, but the card cannot be used overseas (I guess the company's billing address is in England) unless I'm physically there. Stupid, I know, but there's nothing they will do about it.

So from there we wait patiently for my parents to come into town for their visit where I know they will let me use their credit card since I can pay them back. They get in today and I get their card only to discover (after many many Internal 500 errors) that discover card seems to be the only one you can't use to buy minecraft.

I'm super frustrated and at a loss. I'm not asking for someone to buy it for him, but if anybody knows of alternative ways to get the game that would be absolutely great and I would be very grateful.

tl;dr: Trying to buy minecraft for my cousin has brought nothing but headaches with nothing to show for it.
