Where are the good turn-based RPGs?

I just played Chrono Trigger and FF4 and realized that they were both a lot better in terms of gameplay, complexity, and, in some places, even story than the most recent big-name turn-based RPG I can think of, FF13. Maybe I just don't know where they are. Can someone help me out?
