Can't tell if she feels the same way about me

I'm a 19 male and she is 16. Yes somewhat weird but I don't care about age and she said she doesn't either.

I've been talking to her for a few weeks now. We have a lot in common and have a lot of fun together when we hang out. I never liked anyone as much as I do her and I'm basically in love with her. We text each other on the phone almost every day and hang out once or twice a week. I feel like I'm ready to take the friendship to the girlfriend/boyfriend level.

The reason why I can't tell he she feels the same way about me is because she has a few other friends. She seems to want to hang out more with this other guy more than me. I know this other guy and I talked to him about it. He said not to worry and stuff like that but I don't know if he is being honest. He said he also likes her when I talked to him which is the part that confuses me. He also showed her our conversation we had on facebook. I didn't say anything to hurt my relationship with her. I only said I liked her a lot and stuff like that.

I feel like I'm in that "friend-zone" and might not be able to get out. I want to tell her exactly how I feel but I don't want to creep her out then she never talks to me again. The most I told her is that I like her a lot and she also said she like me too. She is also one of those girls who doesn't believe in any compliments any guy gives to her. If anyone could help it will be greatly appreciated.
