A question about phone charger mats.

Hi Reddit. I have a few questions about those universal phone charger pads if you have the time. Do they work with any smart phone (iphone, blackberry, droid)? Also, how bad do they suffer when being fully used. Thinking about getting one for work, it will probably be fully used all the time. Thanks for any time and help you give.
