Costa Rica: the r/trees paradise (album inside, bottom).

Hey Ents! My family (mom, dad, sister) and I went to Costa Rica for Christmas with one of my mom's longtime friends and her family (husband and two sons). After a passport mishap and some malfunctioning airplanes delayed our arrival for a day, we all finally got to our destination. One of the boys from the other family went to middle school with me, but we didn't really know each other back then and we haven't seen each other since. On the trip we realized we both love to toke, but neither of us brought any with us. Fortunately, I made friends with my surf instructor and he sold us a few grams. Unfortunately, Costa Rican trees are schwaggy, seedy, and stemmy to the max. But they did the trick. We got to see lots of different critters like sloths, birds, and these strange squirrel-type things. All week I was waiting and hoping to see a monkey, and then on Christmas day I finally did. It was a Christmas miracle! It was an awesome vacation... I got to try a whole bunch of new things, I made new friends, and I got some much-needed sun in the middle of winter.
