/r/columbus, I stupidly bought something off Craigslist and got scammed. Any advice?

So, a couple weeks ago I bought a copy of Adobe CS5 Master Collection for $50 off this dude via Craigslist. I know...a scam waiting to happen. But I figured out who he was beforehand and found a bunch of stuff with his name so I figured if anything sketchy happened I'd at least be able to track him down. I asked if it was for a mac, and he confirmed. When I picked it up (we met in a public place), it was on a burnt CD, but he explained that it was legit, and the original had multiple users so it was replicated for this purpose. I got a number from him but he said he didn't have his phone on him. It seemed sketchy as fuck, so I am an idiot for going through with it. Well I get home and it's for Windows. So I call, and it doesn't go through to anything. So I email him and get an error message. He deleted his address or blocked me.

Soooooo, I don't know if it's a legit copy or not, but it might work on a Windows machine. Still, he knew he was lying so he cut me off from contact. BUT! I have my connections. So I've found his facebook, found his mom's facebook, and consulted a friend from his area, who in turn knows someone that hangs out with the guy. I could easily contact his mom or find his number, I just don't know if that would do any good. I'm not hurting for the money, so getting it back isn't really all that important. I should probably just drop it and move on and be less trusting, but....I kinda wanna fuck with him. Or something. Teach him a lesson. Fucker.

tl;dr I was scammed $50 buying software via Craigslist, but can find the dude. Should I just drop it or fuck with him?

On an unrelated note, if anyone wants to buy a copy of Adobe CS5 Master Collection for Windows for $50 let me know.
