Not *exactly* a charity request, but my friend started a fashion/art magazine in LA and could use some subscriptions (to help make rent). If you like that kind of thing, check this out...
My friend is smart, has an astrophysics degree and started this art/fashion magazine in LA. She's between day jobs and could use a boost. She's not in dire straits, just someone who could use a break.
