A suggestion for the MRM to be more appealing to outsiders.
I have noticed that there is often a lot of anger, mistrust of feminists\women on this subreddit. I don't think that much of that should be down voted, or censored, because there are reasons to be angry. However, I have noticed that I often get a better reaction from people outside the movement if I say why I personally am angry. For example, there was a thread here a while ago on this subreddit linking to a video about women in the third world. There was a large negative reaction to the video, myself included. Looking at it from the point of view of an outsider, the reaction might have said that MRA don't care about women in the third world. However, when I said that I disliked the video because people have used the plight of third world women to justify first world feminism I got a better reaction. I think generally if you say what in your personal history caused you to be angry\mistrustful\suspicious of feminists\women, you will get a better reaction, and people will be more likely to support the MRM. Instead of saying "you're a troll", say "I suspect you may be a troll because people have used similar posts\tactics in the past to discredit my views."
