How can I donwload Pearson textbooks I purchased?

In my university it is cheaper to buy electronic books from pearson than the physical version of them. However I find the Pearson Ereader very crappy and uncompatible with my favorite browser. The solution would be to find a way to download this Ebook to a PDF. Has anybody successfully tried converting the pearson books to PDF? Thank you :)
