Hey ladies of TwoX! I have a girly question about shaving, help greatly appreciated.

Ever since I started shaving (legs & bikini line etc) I have had a problem with shaving rash. I get severe red bumps where I shave, specifically the 'hair down there', no matter what I do.

I shave 'with the grain' and use shaving cream etc. But no matter what I do, it always ends up the same. And having bright red sore bumps covering your nether-regions is worse than excess or unwanted hair (for me anyway).

Is there any way to prevent this? Will waxing reduce or eliminate it (haven't waxed because I always thought it might make it worse).

I know there are plenty of lasses out there who manage a smooth and unirritated shave...BUT HOW.

This is becoming a frustration. If ever I feel like tidying up, I just look like I have a rash instead!

I have seen various things online but nothing that answers my questions entirely.
