How do I remove certain reddits from the random pool?

For some reason, the random system seems to heavily favor reddits such as r/Wisconsin and r/FantasyFootball. Unfortunately, I have nothing in common with these reddits but I certainly do love exploring new subjects. Isn't there a way to block certain reddits from showing up?
