Please help us live our dream of building a life in Vancouver. (x-post from Vancouverhousing)

I've already posted this in the Vancouverhousing subreddit but since no one ever goes there, I'm hoping to have better luck posting this here. I'm very sorry if this violates too many rules, I just thought I would try it since I really need all the help I can get with this situation.

My husband and I are a hard working couple that wants to build a life together in the amazing city of Vancouver. We often travel there for work, but know there is a better life for us if it was our home. We have been struggling for a year now to find a place that works for us, please let us know if you are aware of anything available!

The ad: Young, self-employed, hard working professional couple with a small dog that is looking too live in Vancouver. We each run a successful home-based business, but both suffer chronic pain that is treated by the use of medical cannabis. We also have a very adorable dog (jack russell cross) that means the world to us, she is very friendly and well-trained.

In the past, we have both experienced a lot of success with business in Vancouver, so now its time to make it our home.

We are looking for: -1 or 2 bedroom (1 bathroom) -Electricity, laundry, high speed internet included. -Pet/cannabis friendly -Vancouver area (Nothing past Burnaby, the closer to downtown the better. Not interested in renting in Surrey). -Max $900/month.

Apartments or condos would be more ideal for us, but I'm not overly opposed to in-house suites (Not really looking to live in someones basement.) I'm willing to pay an extra fee to create a "pet friendly" situation.
