In November, my commission structure changed in a way that has set me significantly out of pocket, I have 3 choices ..

A bit of outline. I've been in this job about 7 months now. In the first 5 I missed my commission target just once.

My commission payment if I hit prior to November was $300 in the bank. I'm on minimum wage so really work hard to ensure I hit my targets and get this payment, because otherwise I don't get enough to pay the bills.

Anyway, November rocks around and we are now on a team target. If the team doesn't hit commission, none of us get anything.

November I exceed my own targets, but the fulltimers in the role are pretty slack. In November, I see $80 in the bank. A loss of over $200.

In December, I blew my targets out of the water as a result I would have previously seen $500 in the bank. Instead I'm unlikely to see anything. And even though I'm outselling everyfulltimer in my store who work twice the hours as me (I'm only on 20 hours a week), I'm unlikely to see any of this.

I'm really pissed off as the drop in income over christmas has really put a strain on my bank.

I went and handed my CV around to a few stores today, as I do have a good looking CV, but nowhere seems to be hiring currently.

IS it worth me complaining sending constructive feedback to our HR department? Or should I just hand my resignation in and wipe my hands clear?

I could either resign and hope to get a new job, ignore the issue and hope the team around me picks up their game (unlikely) or contact my HR team, of which I really do doubt anything will come of it.

Anyone had similar issues?
