The sims help /r

So, I haven't played the sims for a good few months... and I have all the expansions packs sans pets. My latest expansion was generations, but I lost the disc. It tells me in order to play the game, I have to put the generations disc in the computer... is there anyway i can play with another disc? For example, play using my sims 3 deluxe disc? Thanks alot!
