A few days ago I posted a question about Kurt Vonnegut books adapted to movies. I received a few suggestions and I rented Mother Night on iTunes. I just finished it and I'd like to say......holy.shit.

That was the best adaptation from book to film I've ever seen. This was probably in my top 3 Vonnegut novels and the movie did it justice. It was amazing, even parts of the book I didn't quite get the full effect, the movie punctuated. The casting was genius too. The scene with Howard and rezzi in the hideout when she yells at him asking him what is there to live for. I read that part and thought wow this is intense. I watched that part and said holy fuck that is REALLY intense. Well I guess I just wanted to pretty much say that there is at least one movie from a book I didn't feel like they fucked it all up. Well that and fight club.

Tl/Dr- fucking. Incredible.
