Got slapped by a girl in school

So I was walking through the hall and a girl was siting on the floor and I accidentally stepped on her, my immediate response was to get on one knee, hold her hand and said I was sorry, but what about her immediate response? SLAP!

She then starts saying how I obviously did that on purpose, because I'm such a douche (wtf) and after that she didn't even said she was sorry!

And what about the response of my other female colleagues? "Oh, she probably wanted to slap you a long time", like it was accumulated rage, or something like that.

I seriously did nothing wrong to this girl, ever, jesus christ.
