Finding Games On MW3

Hello all, I have been having an odd issue with MW3. When I first turn on my XBox and search for games (generally TDM), it will usually put me in a game with an average latency of <50ms. While playing, I never have any issues with lag or anything else. After the game completes, I will generally get an error saying cannot migrate host and get kicked from the game. Once this happens, if I go back to search for another game of TDM, Domination, or anything else, it generally won't find another game. If it does find one, it will take well over 1 minute. The only way I can generally resolve this is to disconnect from my wireless network and reconnect. I have tried disconnecting from xbox live and reconnecting, and exiting to the main menu, but neither seems to make a difference. I have tried enabling upnp and setting up a dmz and while these options made my nat show as open, it doesn't make a difference on my issue. I also tried changing wireless channels and opening up specific ports rather than trying the dmz and this did not help either. I do have a wireless g netgear modem/router combo and am about 25-30 feet away, but at the same time, Call of Duty is the only thing I have any issues with on my Xbox ever. I have a laptop in the same room and I have never had any issues with it. It is wireless too and when I run speed tests I usually get about 17 or 18 Mbps down and 2 or 3 up with less than 30 ms latency in all tests I've run. Having said all that, any suggestions other than hardwiring to the Netgear? I know if I'm not able to resolve the issue, that's something I'm going to be trying, but I haven't done so yet because I am having a hard time believing it is a wireless issue with the other factors mentioned.
