A question about Left 4 Dead 2 and gifting

As everyone knows, gifting FROM say, America, TO Australia will result in an uncensored version being able to be played in Australia.

I have the opposite situation.

I won L4D2 in the gift pile, but I'm in Australia. At the moment it's in my inventory and I've found someone to trade it with, but I don't want to give it to them if it's the censored version.

Does anyone have any experience gifting FROM Australia TO other countries? What version do they get?

Thanks!
