Scoot Loadouts and tips?

I run Scattergun, Pistol, and Sandman. I used to run Candy Cane but a friend of mine told me melee should only be Atomizer or Sandman, nothing else.

I would love it if someone gave me tips. I meatshot decently and I usually run all the way to enemy spawn to disrupt their respawned-units or destroy their tele. (Teleporters are so underrated :/)
