I generally can't stand shows with a laugh-track. Seinfeld is constantly recommended though...
I normally find a laughter track breaks any sense of reality for me, and therefore all shows with one feel fake, staged and unwatchable. So things like Two and a Half Men, How I Met Your Mother, Friends and Frasier have just been nothing to me. I hated Sports Night until they ditched the laugh track.
I do, however, like some British shows with a laugh track, like League Of Gentlemen and Red Dwarf. But they don't tend to feel as staged, just use the track as a little cue to laugh for thick people.
I've never watched Seinfeld though, but just read that it has a laugh track. I'm now not sure I should even bother.
I'm not sure what I'm asking though, any advice to enjoy it perhaps? Should I bother watching, knowing my hate of fake laughter track sitcoms? Or is this different somehow?
