Wherefore art thou, ...

Is there a word (in either Mandarin or Cantonese) for a "romeo," i.e. a male who is hopelessly romantic and/or flirtatious? All I can find is the direct translation 罗密欧, which is purely phonetic; is there a different interpretation that is linked more closely with Chinese culture?
