What TV shows or movies should I watch?

It looks like Media-Markt will let me download TV shows and movies from their website. Now, I'm certainly not stupid, but I haven't lived in Germany for 10 years, so I have to ask people who are there: what should I watch?

I am looking for shows and movies that were in German originally.
