Judge Judy treats medicinal marijuana users like lazy criminals

Not sure how I forgot to enter the link:

Here it is

Specific aspects of the case aside, and having an unhealthy obsession with watching Judge Judy, her attitude toward the two litigants is pretty embarrassing. Granted they look a bit odd and he has a look that practically screams "I smoke pot", I thought it was really unfair that:

a) she dismisses the medical categories saying "you have a herniated disc - SO DO I", as if to say "you have cancer? So do I!" and then berates them because they use painkillers and she doesn't.

and

b) She implies a federal illegality to having marijuana, but doesn't talk much about the legality on a state level that these two litigants have (he should have had clearer paperwork) - (maybe she did but I stopped watching right before the end).

Anyway I just was a bit annoyed because I see a lot of people who have the same attitude toward pot use in general, but sadly, toward pot use as a medicinal painkiller. Would people prefer people in pain use vicodin or percocet? On the whole, I think the answer is "yes".
