rundpubw.dll error?
I'm fixing a friend's computer right now. He says it's got a virus, but I think it's just fucked up from bad habits. For example, he had 10 or so toolbars in internet explorer, two antivirus programs, etc. However, upon startup, I get an error box that says:
There was a problem starting C:\Users(his name)\AppData\Local\Temp\rundpubw.dll. Access is denied.
I can't find any information on whether this is a malicious file or a benign startup file, and I don't know how to fix it.
Any help would be great. Also, any help idiot-proofing for him. I'm going to get him Avast, and Adblock, and I've installed Firefox and Chrome. Any other suggestions?
