What year do you think they will perfect all-CGI movie making: actor-free, CGI without any uncanny valley effect?
The humans in the YouTube link/recent Tomb Raider game trailer, look almost real; but not quite there yet. (I don't know if real actors were involved in the making of this; i.e. modeling.) When do you think that Hollywood will just be able to pull up files and manipulate faces without having to film an actor and the audience unable to distinguish between human and CGI? (I'm not mentioning objects/backgrounds, because they looks pretty much there, already.)
