Help me improve my game (if you could call it that). I am horrible

Here is the two vids I just made. My defending is horrible and offense non existent. I always lose the ball (when on offence) before the box.

I just picked up fifa12 after playing fifa05 i think long time ago.

edit: that was at world class difficulty. AND my worst performance. I have held teams to 0 goals and won in penalty at that difficulty. But most of those games I'm defending using the 'contain' button. My possession percentage is around 35% on such games
