Redditors I need some help, does anyone knows someone at Sideshow Collectibles? I need to fix what it could be my worst Christmas memory!

Hi, I desperately need your help in getting a replacement part for what my boyfriend calls the best gift ever; i bought it at Sideshow Collectibles http://www.sideshowtoy.com/?page_id=4489&sku=26211 and planned to put it together for him to wake up to Christmas morning; he did... He looked like a little boy that has just seen Santa deliver what he always wanted until we saw it, the horrific damage sword of Snake Eyes right hand.

I read online that you could ask Sideshow to get a replacement for the hand, i don't mind paying for the replacement, shipping and handling as long as I can make this gift to be perfect again. I need help, can anyone help me?

This is what I wrote to Sideshow customer service: "Hi, my name is Michelle and a few months ago I purchased 2 pieces from you Order #TB....... & #TB....... I don't want to return anything, they were gifts and we are in love with them. Unfortunately the Christmas gift for my boyfriend (order TB478169) had some damage and I'm in desperate need of your help to order a replacement snake eyes right hand holding the sword with a broken piece from the red ninja sword. For Christmas morning I've unpacked the piece and put it together so it would be the first thing to see, but my worst night mare happened, the perfect gift (the one he drooled over day after day in your website) was damaged by my cat; that was the end of our Christmas. I spoke with representative Eva in your customer service department and she said you could help me with this. I need to order a replacement hand please, this would be the perfect way to fix his favorite gift.

Please let me know what I need to do; I am including the picture of the damaged piece. If I could have this ordered as soon as possible I would greatly appreciate it; I just found out I'm pregnant and I would love for this replacement piece to be my you are going to be a daddy gift.

I'm including the information I received in the original ordering email. Please let me know the cost of the replacement, shipping and handling.

Edit: I am 6 weeks pregnant and I hope to tell him when I deliver the replacement part, I think it will be LEGENDARY!
