Reddit, I need your advice, quick. Her parents don't feel I respect them.

My girlfriend's parents don't think I respect them. I found out tonight because she told me. I love on her quite a bit while we're hanging out with her mom, and we don't spend any time alone with her dad. I love on her less when we're not alone, but I don't completely stop. I decided I wont show as much affection when it's not appropriate, but tomorrow her mom has decided to have a talk with me (before I knew this was a problem). I'm terrified of things like this. How do I hijack this talk and tell her that I respect them and that I'll be cooling it? Is this even possible? Btw, we each live with parents, so I can't just avoid them, and i see her parents everyday. Any solid advice will be greatly appreciated. Edit: I just read the sidebar. Sorry. I'm 18 and male, She's 21. We've been together for eleven months tomorrow. I love her, I can't be without her, and we can't move out of our parents and in together for a while.
