[TPT] How To Survive College When You're Fat
Get some decent clothes.
To make sure you don't stand out in a negative way get yourself some decent clothing. Nothing all too expensive. If you don't know a plus size store ask around as people grow bigger more shops will open tailored to those with bigger sizes.
Buying clothes really is an important investment as people will take you more serious and are more likely to approach you.
Have positive internal dialogues. The more you compliment yourself and tell yourself how awesome you are the better you feel. I can recommend Paul McKenna's Instant Confidence to get even more confident.
You gotta move... tu du du du! Exercising is important not only because it burns fat but also because it releases some chemical substances that are beneficial to your mental well-being. When I started exercising I slowly started to feel real good about myself and girls were somehow able to feel this and approached me. Ok, I ruined all the occasions but hey, I had no experience with girls back then! ;-)
Most important tip of all:
Be able to laugh about your weight when people you know aren't meaning to hurt you make jokes about it. This radiates pure confidence. ALSO: Don't be a bloody doormat, ever! I know how it feels to be one and hell I'd wish I'd be more assertive back then.''
Will update in the near future.
