I know I am an idiot, but fuck game stop - long rant

Here is the tale of why I am an idiot and why gamestop fucking sucks as a company.

This will be a very quick version of the story but trust me it was a lot more complicated and bull shit than I can even go into words.

It all started with me buying some game about a year ago at game stop because I wanted it then, I generally only buy from amazon. I went and bought the game and the guy behind the counter was talking about some band to his friend and I was like who are they? And they both laugh and say "haha how can you not know that you are a disgrace to music". At this point I am like okay they have a weird sense of humor.

Then they decide to drop the game I just paid for on the ground when putting it in a bag. Then the guy goes to pick it up and then kicks it while laughing. Then he hands it to me and says "here ya go man" like nothing happened.

I ask him for his name and immediately call gamestop corporate. This results in him being fired, and my game being free.

Pretty sweet eh? Corporate kicked ass in this spot.

But now for the rest of the story.

Once again I need something asap so I cannot order online. I call a gamestop and ask if they have any used microsoft xbox 360 WIRED controllers. I make it clear I need a WIRED MICROSOFT XBOX 360 controller. I proceed to then go to 5 gamestops while calling ALL of them first and verifying they have a USED WIRED MICROSOFT XBOX 360 controller. This took about 3 hours of my day and I never did get the damn thing. They all had these bs 3rd party controllers or wireless ones.

Okay so maybe I just didn't speak correctly. I will give them another chance.

So a week ago I go on the hunt for SOCOM:II because I found out that people still played online. I go to a gamestop that is 20 minutes from my house because they ensure me they have the game. I go get the game and come back and it doesn't work. Obviously I am not going to return a $3 game because the gas cost is worth more.

Then comes today, I goto Bestbuy to get saints rows III because it price matched amazon at $35. Of course they are out when I get there, but oh well I was right next to it anyway. So I call my local gamestop and ask if they too price matched SR3 at $35 and they say yes. I get there and they are all out because they could not "hold" one even though I said I would be there in 15 minutes.

I then call another gamestop and they tell me they will hold SR3 no problem. I make the 20 minute drive and guess what? They have it! Too bad they don't price match though so I just walked out not saying a word and bought the damn thing on amazon.

Yep I am an idiot, but fuck game stop.
