What things do you do for money when money is tight? Maybe some not so well-known opportunities?
Times are tough, and I am a stay at home/work at home dad with two kids and a wife. My wife doesn't work, because she watches the kids (keeps childcare costs down).
I am a video editor/motion graphics artist by trade, and do a lot of blogging, and work is just spotty lately. I have been thinking of easy/quick ways to make some money. I have a list of my own, but thought that AskReddit might have some good ideas that I haven't thought about. My list:
- Blogging (you can earn cash for articles)
- selling ads on my website
- selling blood plasma
- Craigslist Odd Jobs
- Selling stuff on Craigslist
- Focus Groups and Market Research
- Selling things on Etsy (I make decals)
- Creating Wordpress websites for small businesses for cheap since they don't wanna spend a lot of money
- I do photoshoots for WAY under what pros charge, just to get the gigs... although I am not too bad at it...
This is the majority of what I have going on. I know there are more opportunities out there... is there anything that you personally do, or have done that has made you some money? Maybe we can help each other out... since we are all probably broke from Christmas...
