Why do I always get sick in December? Been like this for the past 4 years

I'm home, feeling miserable and probably going to miss New Years yet again. For the past 4 or so years, I've been getting sick in December without a fault.

Does anyone know why this happens? What can I do about it for next year? I also tend to get sick around May, spring time as well.
