Americans in Toronto for one day. Please help make our visit to your city a special one.

Hey neighbors! A few of us will be crossing the border for our first trip into your country this Friday. I tried checking the sidebar for tips on what to do but it was all really generic and frankly difficult to navigate from a phone. What are some very touristy yet fun things to do for one day? We are all 26-27 and a little on the poor side. Any suggestions/help would be greatly appreciated.
